San Jose Municipal Golf Course
For over 50 years San Jose Municipal Golf Course has been called home to thousands of south bay golfers. With a tremendous location near the major freeways of 101,880, & 280 this hangout is easy to get to. A straight forward par 72 layout with open fairways on flat terrain offers a pleasant experience for golfers of all abilities. It's the perfect course if you like to walk. A course that is always in excellent condition, the championship yardage has been increased with construction of several new tee boxes. While not the punishing round featured at some of the newly designed courses (that's a relief), San Jose Municipal Golf Course is sure to provide a challenging, enjoyable day of golf. (408) 441-4653

Felix's extensive experience in golf spans over two decades, encompassing competitive play from high school through mini-tour events. As a certified Level 2 instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), he offers comprehensive coaching tailored to players of all skill levels. By evaluating the interplay between your body, swing mechanics, equipment, and instructional methods, Felix aims to enhance your golfing performance. He is also actively involved with The First Tee of Silicon Valley, contributing to the development of golf programs that simplify swing techniques for learners.
Joanne Lee
Instructor
Joanne Lee is an accomplished golf instructor with over 13 years of experience, combining her extensive playing background with a passion for teaching. As a former competitive golfer, some highlights of her accomplishments are three High School CCS Championships, a High School State Champion title, and recognition as a three-time AJGA All-American. Joanne has also competed in four U.S. Junior Girls Championships, six U.S. Women's Amateur Championships, and three U.S. Women's Open Championships, while setting records as a four-time All-American at USC and UC Berkeley, she set records for the lowest round, single-season scoring average, and career lowest scoring average for the Bears. As an instructor, her focus is on helping golfers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, make strategic decisions on the course, set achievable goals, and build a clear path to success. Whether in group classes, junior camps, or private lessons, Joanne’s approach is tailored to each student’s needs, making the game both fun and rewarding as they work toward hitting their milestones.
